Business Directory : Your Company Master Data Management Tool

 

The SupplyOn Business Directory is the platform to store, maintain, and exchange your latest company data and certificates. Information such as sales contact details, company certifications, or even production capabilities will be accessible to any of your customers connected with you in SupplyOn.

By keeping your company master data updated in Business Directory you automatically ensure all your relevant business Information is available to the whole Schaltbau organization worldwide.

When the certificate expires, you will receive an automatic request to update the certificate.

You won't have to update you contact data, manufacturing capabilities, certificates, etc. in several systems anymore.

As a registered user, simply login to the SupplyOn online platform. In the Business Directory, you can now store all of your company’s information in one central directory:

  • Master data: Company name, legal structure, DUNS number, etc.
  • Detailed information: Company history, number of employees, EDI connection capability, etc.
  • Quality and environmental management certificates
  • Contacts: All relevant addresses and contacts in the organization
  • Categories: Manufacturing capabilities on the basis of material group specific questionnaires
  • Company structure: Manufacturing locations, subsidiaries, etc.

 

The Data Sovereignty remains under your control:

"Public" data can be shared with all business partners

"Sensitive" data can be made available only to specific business partners.

Create & Upload your certificates

Before you can upload a certificate into Business Directory, you need to create it.

  • Create a certificate using the “Create certificate” button.
  • Add a name to the certificate and select a certificate type. On the next page, you can upload a PDF of your certificate and complete the certificate data.

Once active, the certificate can be edited and assigned to company sites.


Edit created certificates

You can edit a certificate that you previously created if its status is “draft.”

  • The contact persons of a supplier company will see a list of previously created certificates on the “Certificates” page.
  • Click on the three-point menu on the “Certificates” page, and select the “Edit” function. This opens the detail view of the certificate.

You can now revise all certificate data here.


Assign created certificates

To view the certificates of a specific site you can open and close the index cards, where every company site is depicted.

  • You can assign active certificates to your companies by using the “Company assignment” tab. Select a valid certificate by using the checkboxes. Then click the “Assign certificate” button in order to select the right certificate.
  • Only if the certificate is already active, can be assigned to company sites. In addition, the certificate must be in the status  “Valid” or “Valid soon.”

In case the certificate is inactive, it won’t be possible to assign it to any company sites.
